The first couple of time I reset the ECU it did not reset because I did not leave it disconnected long enough. But when I finally got it rest I notice that the pinging sound comes at 2200 rpms to 2400 rpms instead of 2000 - 2100 rpms. After that I went back and made sure that I did not have any air leaks and did not find any.

By reading the thread it sounds like I will have to have my coils replaced. Now would the coils going bad have anything to do with the cone intake. Warranty concern?

Probably not... BUT they probably won't replace em unless they don't know you had the cone on there so go back to stock and see if you can still get the pinging. Then take it in.

Make sure you get your pinging without the intake otherwise your dealer prolly won't do a damn thing.
