What do you recommend

Alright, I have a 2000 stock max SE. I am wanting to get some new springs that lower and increase the performance of my car. I dont' want anything dramatic as far as drop just enough to make the factory 17's look awesome on the car(your pics would be appreciated). I want something similiar to the ride if not softer than oem springs yet increase the handling. i have read many threads about all this but can't really make a decision so i am trying to tell you what i want and wondering what you recommend. hope i am clear enough

http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html all the info. you need is there...the H&Rs offer great ride and handling characteristics, but tend to be a bit higher up in the front...the H-techs offer a very even and good looking drop IMO, but may be a bit more rough than the H&Rs....i would go with either one of those if i were you though...and btw, it's best if you replace the struts as well, which can get expensive...so a good drop will run you anywhere from $400-$600

the most even mild drop IMO are the maxspeeds. Plus the ride quality is similar to stock, just a little firmer. The H&Rs are about the same in the front but sit lower in the back. My wheel gap with Maxspeeds is almost identical front and back....

Here's a pic of mine when I still had my stock 17's...

Try the Progress springs. Here's a pic of my car on the stock wheels.

i think the maxspeeds or H-techs would be the best for him, because he said he was looking for a *mild* drop (and you and i both know, the progress drop is a bit more than mild..) with a stock-like ride...the maxspeeds offer a very mild drop as well as a fairly stock ride....again, no offense to progress, but they don't exactly fit the criteria of what THIS person wants...just my .02

EDIT: btw, your car looks AWESOME!

Exactly....I love the way the Progress looks (especially on Joel/Puppetmaster's car), but it is a more substantial drop, no doubt. On Progress, the car "looks dropped," even to the non-car-person, while the Maxspeeds look like the way Nissan "Should have" made it in the first place...

Thanks man. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If you want a mild drop, go with Maxspeeds or H&R's or Tein H-techs.

Yea basically what everyone else said. The H-techs will offer a greater drop than the other two options though. I went with H-techs because I was looking for a nice drop, but a good ride as well. I went with them over H&R's because the H-tech drop just looks much better, yet isnt too low.
