Looking for the HID write up

I am going to install a set of 02-03 factory HID's into my 2K and am looking for the write up that is floating around out there. If it's not any the writeup can someone comment on the additional parts I'll need other than the lights? I know Courtesy Nissan has a wire kit but am not sure it that goes along with the write up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Irish, any idea what the harness and clips run? Have you seen the write-up? I'm worried it won't have a parts list and don't want to get my lights out to install the HID's and be missing something. I'd look silly driving with a flashlight.

Almost forgot, is this a permanent thing? If I go to sell the car I'd obviously take the lights back out and put the stock lights in but am curious of how easy the reverse is or if it's even reasonable to do so.

Yeah, if you plan on putting the stock headlights back when you sell the car, make sure you buy an extra set a clips for the 2K-2K1 headlamps. You'll probably end up breaking the originals when you remove them to install the 2K2-2K3's (I ended up breaking mine). Also, when you cut and splice the stock harness, leave yourself enough wire near the plugs so that you can wire them back to the stock wiring if you're planning on converting back.

As far as the write-up.....I had it a while back, but thanks to modern technology (computer crash that required hard drive formatting) eveything was erased from the computer, so the write-up is no longer in my possession

You may not get an answer on the how-to conversion, but here's Dave B.'s phone number 1-888-254-6060 ext. 157. He'll hook up everything you need for the install.

I just purchase a 2000 maxima SE with 5 speed last week. I enjoy the car, but I currently interested in upgrading to HID headlights. I tried to retrieve the write up, but I am guessing no one is hosting it anymore. So, can I swap to a 02-03 headlight that already come with HID? It seem like it fits.. but I am very newbie..

Thanks for your help in advance.

Eddie

I'm not having any luck. With the rampant theft of these lights everyone is pretty tight lipped on the How to for installation.

Not much needed to swap. all you need are
1. HID headlights
2. Wiring kit.. (Can be obtained from Dave B or Courtesy Nissan)
3. Bottom mounting clips. (Can be obtained from Dave B or Courtesy Nissan)

All you do is wire them up.
