Motorola Bluetooth Phone Kit HF850 Installed Pics
I got the bluetooth LG VX8100 for Verizon, so I decided to install the HF850 last weekend. Not to hard, I also threw a relay in to get the radio turn off with the radio mute wire from the kit.

Looks good....I just installed mine last week....I mounted mine on the dash below the temp gauge and just above that little tiny vent.....my speaker is under the steering console mounted the the support frame.

The kit was 95 shipped on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1
There is no radio mute wire in the car itself. I had to use a bosch relay (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=330-070) and (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=330-075).
The brain of the car kit basically sends a ground signal through the radio mute wire (most kits work this way but you better make sure with the model you choos) during a call. On the relay there are five connectors but only four are used. Connect the radio mute (orange wire in my case) from the kit to 85. Now take an always on wire (took mine from the radio power) and connect it to 86. This will now activate the relay during a call. Next you want to splice the relay to the ignition sense wire going into your head unit. Put one side to 30 and the other side to 87a. The circuit between 30 and 87a is normally open meaning until the relay is tripped this circuit is always connected. Lets say you receive an incoming call. The brain will basically turn on the radio mute wire connecting it with the always wire you have chosen. This then will activate the relay disconnecting the ignition sense wire to your radio, turning your radio off. Sorry but no pics.
