They splice into the red/black wires of a light.

in a way yes. You splice into the wires that go to the bulb, the original wiring. Most just use a T-tap that can be removed and returned to stock.

You know

I would really like to see some pictures of the cars with these LED's installed in the tails. Like the 7443 for the Tails and the 7440 for the rear turn signals...

Noob Question:
I did it

Parking light and Front turn signal ... 1157

Tail light and Stop light ... 7443

High mount stop light ... 7440

Can use those???

So for your tail/stop light.. there is only one bulb.. correct? So when your parking lights/headlights are on, its not too bright... and then when you brake, its as bright as the bulb can be... are these LED's the same if you were to replace those bulbs?
