He has nothing else going on in his life besides the internet b/c he is probably one ugly bastard who has never even kissed a girl and gets his jollies off by internet fighting.
MaxLover - go back to your 4th gen forum and annoy those guys. You are a miserable human being.

I usually get 21-24 mpg in philly and get 28-33 on the highway with my 5.5 gen auto
This thread is quite humorous.
LMFAO @ whoever said "u dont see people who nearly drown go and take pics of the ocean"
Anyway, MaximaLover jes get the 5.5 gen fixed up or get a 350Z good luck with that.

See, that is the way you make head-to-head comparisons when numerical values are involved. .....using comparable "products"

Like I said before it doesn't matter though. You bought your max for your own reasons and I bought mine because I didn't want to spend over 15 grand on a maxima. If I was going to spend that much money on a car, it sure in the hell wouldn't be a max. But not all of you are my age either and have kids and such.
Lets just all agree to disagree and to to agree that a 97 max 5-speed is just as quick as a 2002 auto from a dead stop, ok? Sure I could mod my car to keep up with the 5.5 gen 6-speeds, but I'm going to save that money for the future.

no, it isn't. .....Assuming they both use the same tires (yes, traction has alot to do with drag times), a STOCK 2002 auto will beat a 1997 STOCK 5-speed 10 times out of 10).
Look in the dyno section....stock 02 autos still put down over 200 to the wheels, while your 97 doesn't even come close to that....the weight difference is not all that much, either....

LOL Iam suprised this thread is not locked, but maxima lover you are
and Stupid, Although i happen to have a 2002 Auto, has 91k on it and i got beeten by one car by a 4 th gen 5 speed SE, but i had a bad Maf. now The car pulls very hard and ill prob beet it but when we raced i caught up very quickly. Also iam lowered on Tockico Hp/Tein S-Tech , Yes the handling improved significantly but no way youll handle that turn even at 70MPH even with Irish's set up with a Stage 2 Ltb.You and your dad both need to go back to Drivers Ed to learn the rules and regulations of driving. Thank you and have a pleasent day
