Mink carpet would get dirty SO FAST it would never be worth having

lol...I'll have pics this weekend, I PROMISE. No, it will not be done this weekend, that is for certain. Right now I am getting everything together for my lighting...I have 7 CCFL inverters I need to position and 1 LED series line to run. By 4:00pm Saturday I hope to have ...

-||- Trunk put back together and amp mounted with lighting
-||- Headliner, sunglasses holder, moonroof controls, dome light reinstalled
-||- Rear deck installed
-||- B, C Pillars remounted
-||- Seatbelt runner painted

...so that should take me through the weekend. Next week I hope to finish all of the wiring and doors finished, then the seats done. The very FINAL part of the install involves a very "secret" cluster modification, but 99% of the project should be done within the next few weeks.

Just wondering what you plan on doing when those panels get a kick/scuff on them... will this be easy to clean? Looks awesome though, nice job and excellent dedication to you're vehicle! I'm proud to be a member of the .org with people like you who dedicate so much time and effort to their cars!

Thanks, man! The protective enamel coat does a pretty darn good job (thus far ) at protecting the panels. All you really need is some dihydrogen monoxide to clean 'em up. I am going to see how my Meguiars does on them on a test panel later on. I'm proud to be a member of this board - were it not for all of the positiv encouragment and motivation I was given as a wee Maixma owner, I never would have gotten this far!

All right, fellas - I promised more pics, and here they come!

The colors contrast very nicely looks better by the day. Cant wait to see the leather installed and everything back together. Wish I was local so we could get some two tone action going on in my car since I know i dont have the time or determination to do it myself.

You make me proud with your hard work and dedication. I plan to use black vinyl on my rear deck and perforated sand leather on my headliner to match the leather seats.

its all coming together very nicely. good color combo bone and black suede, but i think that some of the pieces have too much contrast. the speaker grills on doors should have been bone, and im not sure what pic or what page in the thread, but the same goes for part of your center console i saw earlier.

not knocking it and definitely not you for doing it, just stating my opinion that the breaks in color on some of the pieces create a choppy effect.

Eh, I like it with the contrast better. I totally embrace anyone's comments, including if you think it's rice.

...just don't call it "cheap"!!!!

I don't think its rice at all, as far as it looks I would love to have it in my car. Nicely done two-tone so far.

Just make sure you don't get that suede wet.

Hahahaha @ "oh sh*t handles."

It took me a while to figure out what an "oh sh*t" handle could possibly be, and then I realized it's the handles on the roof/above the windows.
