My doors close with a nice soft thump. Sounds very good. But those clips sound off because it sounds like its plastic closing against plastic -- it could be the camera's fault, or because the interior is still empty.

[QUOTE=Metal Maxima]I think Spencer summed it up best: "You're the freaking one-man version of West Coast Customs...on the East Coast!"

wassup Dan... i'm ordering the sound deadening stuff but i'm already installing the sound system today(i don't feel like going to work & i'm curious how loud n clear my components are), so probably when the stuff is in, i'll make that appointment wit' ya.

MOTYear!

this thread is so motivating to get off my *** and beautify my car, but I am in college, so hopefully somewhere down the road I can get a project like this going and finished in a reasonable amount of time.

Well, I tried a dry mounting, and it destroys the "cleanliness" of the peice, I think I am going to try and find a place to stash the little bugger that will look nice and clean.

I would be more than honored to recieve such a high distinction. I don't know how to get into the MOTM running, I think I need to post pics in the picture forums, so I will wait until everything is done until I post there. Just don't forget to support me, guys.

Or how about in the glove box, so when you open that up there is some blue illumination there as well

Or maybe in the armrest, or under the seat?

Brunoma. The man, the Legend. He parted out his Max and sold it last year. I think he now drives a G35.

You will have to pull he original covers off, template or not. I hate to be a spoilsport, but there are many metal rods and plastic plates which comprise the seat reinforcments themselves which would have to be removed or fabricated in order to make new seat covers.

hey! he's mr. eastcoast customs.....f the west coast...haha....just kidding guys on the left coast don't kill me....

And damn straight dan is the man, engineers definitely can handle a plethora of things happening at once....

but this like any other engineering project is always planned to only take a little bit of time but usually ends up taking 15 times the original estimate...aint that right dan?
