I'm quickly starting to hate my car more...(Electric issues)

So first my volume ***** sh*ts out on me and I lived with it because I still had the steering controls. And now guess what? My steering controls don't work half of the time. And the Bose rattle. Oh and when the controls do work, adjusting the volume sometimes triggers the track to switch. Hell, it even happens when I'm just turning the wheel and all of a sudden the track switches.

Oh, and let's not forget to mention how my car continues to hesitate upon start up.

I hate my car. I really do.

just think abou the problem... the radio control suck.. I have the same problem... I'm going to order a new radio control from DaveB soon... try this first.. and hopefully you will love your car again. For the hesitation, check the spark plugs, coils and even the MAF. run codes etc... do a seafoam treatment and go from there... good luck

I guess I should check the spark plugs out. Doubt it's the coils since it's been an on-going issue for 2 years now. And how is seafoam used anyways? Always wondered about that product.

MAF is A-ok, btw. Car picks up like a bull.

Have you changed your battery recently?(thats for the car hesitation i.e it doesnt start unless you hold on to the turning position of the key for like 4 seconds) Check on your alternator. Something similar happened to me except my bose system is a 00 maxima one. I just replaced my whole system. you might wanna check to make sure you dont have any exposing wires of any kind touching a metal part in your car.(this kills your battery) I learnt this the hard way
Hope this helps

I have a brand new Die Hard Gold in there. My battery discharge with the OEM was standard and normally gradual, so that isn't an issue either. I'm going to try and spray some compressed air around and hope it does the trick. With the non-stop raining in NYC, the increase of humidity inside was pretty rapid. I don't know.

I really hate spending money on the car fixing something wrong with it.

I was in the same shoe a month ago only that my problems were a lot more costly and serious...but at least you have a FX to spare....or should I say a maxima as your spare.

I still have the Max. I'm only partially paying for the FX, it's primarily my father's car. I mentioned that in my 'other cars' post.

And driving the FX and then driving the Max makes me hate it even more. !@#%$#@!#
