Check the Parts List thread, about $700, I recommend ProTorque instead.

Search in this forum to find more info because the TC has been discussed many times.

Everyone still says search. Anyone notice it doesn't find results on any key terms, even maxima, no mater the search criteria?

If anyone has info on price and performance gains, please share. Also, install costs/hassle.

I bet I can find the threads by using the search.

Use these parameters in this forum
Username: Dman_2kMax
Keyword: Either torque converter, TC, Level 10, ProTorque

Use these parameters in the General
Username: CalsonicSE
Keyword: Either torque converter, TC, Level 10, ProTorque

It's a matter of playing around with the right keywords to find your result.

Have YOU tried using the search!? It doesn't work is what I am trying to saying.

Search on SHO, GTP, Maxima, anything, yeilds no results. Always says:

Information
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

I have have used the search many times before without problems, and used both home and work PCs.

I wish soneone could just point me to a site.

I just tried it and the search function does work...but if you want a website, go to Levelten.com or ProTorque.com. However, you probably would learn much more by reading previous posts on the forum.

Hehehe 2 against 1 on the search results for the TC (yes, I did try the search and came up with the results I was looking for). CalsonicSE pointed out both sites... they can also be found in the sticky thread as I mentioned in my first post.

Level 10 Info and Link

A couple of our Accord V6 guys have the Level 10 Torque Converter upgrade. We have an informative "Sticky" thread on the SHO Accord V6 board here: http://superhonda.org/board/showthre...?threadid=6773 ...that you're more than welcomed to check out.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it has knocked off 0.5s or more from 1/4 mile times for the guys that have it. Unfortunately it's now 915pm in California, and about 2 billion moronic riced-out Civic owners (<= ) are clogging SHO so I can't get there right now to verify that.

The Level 10 TC upgrade does require some down time, however. Level 10 doesn't build anything "new", they simply rebuild your existing tranny by upgrading parts, and the turn around time I *think* is like 3 weeks or something. That really sucks, but that's how it is.

I'm not familiar with ProTorque so I can't comment on that. I think more than a few of you with automagic's have done the Valve Body (VB?) calibration too which will also help.

Thanks Steve! Not sure I want to void my tranny Warranty, as I hear with these trannys, down the road, I my need it. Damn, no pain, no gain. I keep trying to stick to moding my vette, but I'm so into the fast 4 door car thing now from when I got my 4th gen maxima. Its more impressive to blast people in a family car then a vette, because the don't expect it.

Maybe I should calm down on the i30T, and trade it for another 4 door in about a year. I dunno, .5 second off would be great though.

You won't be sorry. I love it and it has dramatically improved my launches. Hey I noticed in your handle that you have "Tex", do you live in Texas? If so I'm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and I'd be happy to give you a spin in my car so you could see for yourself how the T.C.er performs.
