Finally! Problem figured out and fixed!

After over a year of dealing with the issue and having no service center figure out what's wrong with the car something happened yesterday that allowed me to finally get this stalling problem fixed.

Yesterday was the most i've had the car stall (6 times in 30 minutes, pulled over 2 more times after and as i was reaching home it died completely forcing me to push the car home) - and this time the SES light finally came on.

Voila! Finally an error code! Brought it in to Nissan and they figured out it was a Cam Position Sensor failure. It's been replaced and i'm picking her up tomorrow

The odd thing is this problem started after i brought the car in last year for the voluntary recall of the same exact part. Now i'm wondering what the other dealership did to my Max (or if they even replaced it at all).

Anyhow, that said. I'm glad the Max has her health back. And in good time too! My extended warranty is about to run out and i'm about done with the payments to boot!

A BIG Thank you to all who's helped me in the past. Though none of them really solved the problem, at least we all tried and for that i'm greatful

sounds like they smoked the recall

glad its alive again

get your old part, or at least take a look at it. IIRC there was an updated p/n for the sensor or something... id seriously be pissed... recalls arent something to take lightly.

What year are you? 2k2 and 2k3s had recalls where the dealer installed them for free.

Thanks guys. I already got the car and they already threw away the defective part. Oh well.

I'm a 2k2, another dealership did perform the recall last year - which is also the same time i started having the problem.
