squeaking belts and less voltage

i just got my udp pulley put on, the plac i had do it replaced the larger belt witht he one i provided, but kept the small one on. they saidd the new one i got didnt fit.

anyway, now my belt/belts are squeaking during low rpms and when u first start up the car. i could handle squeaking, but i notice that my voltage is down from its nrmal 14v to about 12.5-13. but when the squeakign goes away its back up to the normal 14

it squeaks when i shift, liek the belt just slips and cathcs up.

anyone knwo what size belts the ebay pulleys are supposed to use, i think my shop threw out the sheet that told me. but i got the one it said in the first place. im confused.

last q, is the belt going to the alternator, im assuming its not gettign enough power, thats why my voltage is down, the sort or ong belt, and if its the short one, how hard is it to replace?

You are correct. It's the serpentine belt, FYI, the big one, that goes to your alternator. Re-tension the belt using teh adjuster nut on top of the idler pulley. If that doesn't work, you are pretty much stuck -- one major side effect of many UDPs is that the alternator doesn't turn fast enough at idle to generate the proper voltage.

I'm having this too. I need to tighten my belt up, as well.
