With the help of Y2KevSE with the printout of the Service Bulletin I was able to talk to the service department with some knowledge, thanks KEV!

I told them I could not get the car to slip from 2-3 all the time and do not feel comfortable with a tech doing 70 at 6000rpm to find out. They told me they would take my word for it since my car was built 9-4-00 and falls into the TBS.

Now I just hope the car gets both a new TCM and a new solenoid. I will let you know what happends and recommend everyone gets this done before your warranty runs out.

Mark

I bought the Max at the Elway on Arapahoe but don't like there service dept. I like the service at Elway Nissan on 104th in Northglenn. They don't give me any grief, they just fix it.

UPDATE!

The dealership called and is going to have a new soleniod for me in a few days. They say if that does not totally fix it they will order me the TCM right away.

I hope the new solenoid works.

awesome! The new solenoid will make things right.....it made a huge difference for me. I originally had the 101 model TCM, but never got the 160 model TCM with the solenoid swap. Everything is good for me so far
