looking for a good windshield wiper

my winshield wipers make a lot of noise when driving in the rain. its not noise from the motor but the rubber actually sticking everytime kind of like its pressing too hard against the window. when i called and asked the dealer last year he said they have to break in but its been over 2 years.
are the silicone blades any good? will i have the same problem?

Yes, PIAA silicone blades are great. I have them and I love them. You can get them at autobarn.

Teflon blades are also good. That's what I run on mine. Just curious, have you used anything on your windshield to clean it? I only ask this, because your blades sticking to the windshield and making noise could be caused from your windshield not having a good, smooth surface. I know sometimes certain kinds of soap and cleaners tend to affect the glass somewhat (like Rain-X).

After trying so many brands I've come to trust TRICO OEM Replacements and nothing else. They don't make any noise, wipe the best and last the longest.

Use Rain-Ex on a regular basis.

It will make any wiper blade last longer and be more effective. You can even increase the replacement period of you keep Rain-Ex on your windshield.

Silblades and PIAA silicone blades are nice, but if you're the type who prefers to go cheap, I've had decent luck with OEM, Anco, and Michelin blades. I have the Michelins on right now, and they are quiet and they wipe cleanly.

I tried Valeos and now I'm using Anco Rain-X wipers.....they suck.... They miss spots on the windshield. Is there any that don't miss? I'm not really looking to spend a million dollars tring to find the right wipers....I just want wipers that clear the windshield without missing....

I have been using the new Bosch ICON. Its a really good blade and has held up very well, thus far.

Have you had any missed spots at all? The Valeos which are similar worked fine on the way up but always missed something on the way down.....

I took off wiper blades for aerodynamic reasons. I Use RainX every week. No need for blades

seriously - rainx helps with any blades, even the Walmart brand.

On my other cars I've never had to use anything on the windshield and you should never "have to"
They are supposed to just work. Maybe I should just get Nissan wipers

Break in??? Never hear that one before.

I've have always had the best results with OEM blades, regardless of the make & model.

My friend has a pair of piaas and I can't imagine any other blades wiping so well. But they were almost $45 bucks a pair.
