Coil problem or something else?

Hi all,

So my TCS, ABS, SLIP & SES lights are all on at this point. I'll probably be at autozone tomorrow night to pull the codes but I just recently read a thread (that had an awesome write up..props to bigfatty) on how to identify and replace the bad coil and in that thread it said that if all the aforementioned MIL's are on, it pretty much indicates that you have a bad coil.

Funny thing is the car seems to be fine with no rough idle.

Also, I was told by a shop in Brooklyn (who has yet to even see my car) that all those lights usually indicates that it is a battery or alternator problem.

Is there any validity to this statement?

Thanks

Doubt it's coils, sounds more like Alternator/charging system problem.

I had a similar problem but now all the lights are gone except the SES (reading O2 sensor problem P0160)... it happened when i change spark plugs because I was having odd idling problems. Now my car is in the shop getting the IACV replaced.. gonna cost me around 400$ to get that thing replaced! =(

Maybe I missed something, but this is pretty off topic to this thread.
and yes TB= throttle body. It is located at the end of your air intake system. (The plastic part) When you press on the pedal it opens your throttle plate located inside the housing (body)
