Coil spring isolators?

Okay, so Ive been doing some reading here about coilovers and I found where some people who have the Tein SS have had problems with the front making noise. It was suggested to use some coil spring isolators to resolve this problem. Well, I have the Tein SS coilovers and althought the only thing I have been reccomended to to is to cut the bump stops.

So I have a few questions. One, should I get the coil spring isolators? Two, is there anything else that Energy Suspension makes that is directly associated with the coilovers that I should look into and lastly, which one of the isolators do I need? I know that it is based on measurements, but which measurements? The ID and OD of the spring?

link for refrence http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/sboots.html

I really appreciate any help given.

I was told by a buddy of mine that the noise you get is the springs touching each other, not just them rubbing/moving on the perch. I have vogtlands to be put on and I am worried about the noise. I guess if you wrap the entire spring you maybe able to elimate the noise

Those spring Isolators are for making your suspension much stiff by not allowing the spring to compress. They are mostly used as a way of making the rear springs not squat when launching or accerlating at the track.

What you want is the OEM spring "isolators" or you can just buy some spiral wire wrap at a electronics store and wrap it around your spring and it will do the same thing.

So, I should already have the OEM "isolators" on my car, so can I just use the old ones or should I get new ones? And is there a particular process for wrapping the springs? How much do I wrap?
