Project D2R foglights!
Project D2R foglights!
I have a Stillen big mouth polyurethane bumper, here's what I plan on doing.
Instead of using PIAA H3 round foglights like a lot of the people with the Stillen bumper do, I'm going to attempt to find H4 or H7 round foglights, buy H4-D2R or H7-D2R adapters from ebay and use my 2nd set of OEM 2k2-2k3 ballasts with 3000k D2R bulbs.
So far with all my luck, I can only find H4 round headlights that are 5+3/4 inch and H4 headlights that are 7" to replace old azz cars' headlights from the 60's and 70's.
The problem with these are:
1) quality - they're either HELLA or e-ghey brand
2) size, they are about 3.5" from base to lens. I think my D2R bulbs are pretty big
3) mounting - they don't include mounting hardware because they're direct headlight replacements.
Any suggestions? I don't think too many people have D2R foglights. But if this works out, man! Super duper bright yellow HID foglights!

Can anyone find a good below 7" round H4 lamp?
