I'm interested in at least one set (vq35) as well as a throttle body gasket if possible.

if you guys are interested, you can make your own phenolic spacers, which will accomplish the same thing. the MX6 crowd this at one time, and it worked nicely, and one supplier started mass producing them for KL03 and FS01 engines.

It'll also cover yours.

Don: I still haven't hit the dyno, so if you still want to get the spacers dyno'd, please let me know. You have my number and e-mail address.

no...these gaskets just prevent heat from moving to the intake manifold

Well, I haven't heard anything lately either. Kinda disappointing. This thing was so hot for awhile and Don DID have 20 guys lined up.

Sooner, have you installed the gaskets? Any pre-test/after-install info?

It lists for the 350Z and G35 as well and there is only one part number for all VQ35s. Is the gasket design for the gasket between the upper and lower IM the same for both FWD and RWD VQ35s? I am almost positive it is not. The FWD have different shape ports every other port since the runners are different.

I spoke to Don the day before the meet held at LP field. He sounded excited to get the gasket installed for us (Maxima.org community), He said he was really busy trying to get things organized for the meet and would get back to me afterwards to get the ball rolling on installing the gasket and getting my car on the dyno. Never heard back from him since. I have emailed him a couple of times, but no reply. Im gonna call him to see if he really wants to do this or what. I'll keep you fellas updated.

I am feeling like I want to treat my baby right and scoop up a set. After all, logically they seem like there would be a slight performance gain in installing these.

Since this is going nowhere, I'm locking this thread up. Someone can PM me or any of the other mods if there are more developments.

In the meantime, Aaron92SE is interested in developing these for us:
