must change ECU when changing IACV?
ok ive heard various answers....must u replace the ecu of replacing the iacv? or is ecu replacement needed only if the ecu is fryied because of the iacv malfunction????

There have been instances when the malfunction of the IACV has caused the ECU to short out, thus requiring replacement.
But usually the replacement of the IACV does not require the replacement of the ECU. It would be good idea however to get the latest update to your current ECU from the dealer. Nissan is continuously sending out updated part numbers to their ECU's. These are only available through the ASIST program, downloaded into Consult 2 at your dealer service department.
There are several 5th Gen. TSB's that recommend this after diagnosing and repairing a problem.
