A) please take off the caps because it makes your post look bad.
B) Stay on topic!
C) Take an English course

Now that I got the flaming out of the way, an intake should have nothing to do with an antifreeze leak. You don't have to take off the intake manifold to add an intake. If you're having a leak around the manifold, it's probably working it's way up from below because there shouldn't be any antifreeze in the IM. You need to look a little more around your engine for the leak. Try taking your car to a carwash and spray down / clean the engine bay first. Then drive it around for a bit and look for the leak. Should be easier to find then. If you still can't find it, there's stuff on the market that you can put in your antifreeze that glows under a black-light. This should make finding the leak easier. I'm guessing it's just a leaky hose and not a gasket as gasket leaks in the coolant system are not common on these cars.

hey,
thanks for quick reply...you are right about that, those cars don`t leak around gaskets. My car looses antifreeze only when I drive it hard, if I go over 5000 rpm it hapens, but what the funny part is, is that you cannot see it. It seems like the antifreeze is comming from behind the EGR valve. Went to nissan dealer this morning and they said that there is no antifreeze going arount egr valve. I have changed hose comming of radiator and going into engine. Still same, would it maybe be pressure switch, because old manifold that i had was in really bad shape, so on the new one air flows better and it has more power, will that have anything to do with antifreeze leak?

Check it when it's cold, run it hard, let it cool for a good 4 hours and check it again. I bet you're not losing anything.

Acutally there is a hose carrying anitfreeze that is connected to the IM at the back of the IM on the driverside.

Back to the original thread, you get significant gains in the upper rev range, but loose a little bottem end power, IMO the trade off is worth it. I've swtiched a few times between stock and my Injen and definitely prefer the Inken setup, but then again I do have it coupled with a Catback which in combo works very well.

I Got The Same Exhaust System And Intake. Do You Know Where I Can Find Some Type Of Schematics That Would Show Me How Antifreeze Flows In 2000 Maxima?

you should go with the berk or frankencar, best bet is with the apexi filter, but the K&N is alright. pick them up used or new ont he org and they arne't too expensive. I think there is a berk for sale in the FS section, it might be taken though. The GAB is good, but after just switching from the GAB to frankencar, it sounds so much better.

1. This thread was lame in the first place
2. This thread got 10x as lame when it was hijacked
3. This thread will certainly get even lamer if someone doesn't lock it
