Anyone have any tips on Optima Install?

Hey, I got a yellow top Optima battery, is there anything special I should know, or do, before I install it?

I have the D75/25. Works beautifully, and you have to tinker/stretch the positive cable a tad, but it will go on. You might want to also cut one of the zipties at the base to give the line a little more slack.

my redtop 35R series had to be modified in order to fit...i had to dremel away some of the plastic housing on the positive terminal of the battery...what a pain

and the optima itself sat lower than the oem battery...i was too lazy to get new j-hooks so I used heavy duty zip ties on one side, and bolted it down like stock on the other...works like a charm for 1.5yrs
