Airconditioning Condensate Drain

Do you know where on 2002 model there is a condensate drain from the AC unit? I was looking on my I35 for it as I thought it could be plugged in, but could not find the drain tube.
Please advise

I just joined because my Mom asked me the same question. She has a 2002 Maxima and her passenger carpets are getting wet (it's water not coolant) and the car leaves no puddle when the AC is running.

Anybody?

On my 2002, when I was replacing my in-cabin air filter, I could feel the drain opening beneath the AC coil. You can squeeze you hand in throught the opening for the air filter. Search the org and you will find the procedure for removing the filter.

Run the A/C for a while, get under the car and look for a hanging drop. Even if it is plugged up mostly, it'll still allow at least that much through. I've had to find it on an other car, but never on the max, so if you do, please post pics so others know.

It's up the fire wall on the passenger side about a foot or so around the power steering pump. It sticks out horiziontly, but only about an inch or so. It's hard to see and you'll need good light to view it. If your going under there to look take a toothpick/q-tip to clean it out. I was looking for it a few weeks ago to make sure it wasn't clogged up.

Mines definetly not clogged Max's drip a whole lot more condensation then any other car I've owned. Its a bit much, I have to keep a pan under my car in my garage so it doesn't run back and collect under the garage door and drip on my head when I open it. Not that I'm looking for a way to stop or catch it.

Kcowden, thank you.
Please clarify, did you get to that area from underneath of the car or from the top under the hood?

Unfortunately it is not dripping at all otherwise I would trace it back. You right, it was very obvious to find that tube on any other car including my previous Max -94, but not on this one. It is gotta be there.
