Yellow fog light?

Yellow fog light?

ive seen some people with the stock fog lights painted yellow. i like that look and thinking about doing mine. what paint do i use and where do i get it? thank you.

also if anyone has pics that would be great. preferably on a gray maxima

no, nobody has "painted" them yellow. You have three choices:

1. get "yellow" bulbs like Narva Gold, PIAA Crystal Ion, etc. These are not really all that yellow, but they are a little bit.
2. get Lamin-x yellow film for the lights and use normal bulbs. This makes them "look" yellow but the light is only kinda yellow
3. get the HIDtech yellow capsules ("Lexus yellow") with normal bulbs...VERY yellow.

i used to have yellow tint on my fog lights but i removed it and put clear ones on. i say go with the yellow capsule mod that looks the best. the yellow tint fog lights look out of place after a while =/

theres also yellow foglights on ebay now. no need to tint or anything. cover itself is yellow.

thats just for 00-01. ive seen the glass lense ones also for 5.5 gens but i cant find it rite now

fyi.... the capules i tried for a 5.5 gen fogs didn't fit... its the capsules with the three prongs from hidtech.... the reg plastic 5th gen fogs fit with no problem... jus don't over back em like i did

Have them in Hella Optilux foglight housings & the bulbs have lasted over 3 years so far.
