PLEASE HELP ME!!! Trouble wiring 2k2 HID's on a 2000

I have a write up, and followed all the directions for the driver's side headlight. The only part I didn't understand was when it said to ground the low beam wire to the BODY of the car. Where exactly do I attached that wire to?
Also there is a green wire on coming from the original 2000 wiring harness that I have left over.

The big problem I'm having is that nothing is lighting up. Not a single light in the headlight assembly. I'm a little worried because I had never tested the HID's out when I bought them - from another member on this forum.

Anyhow I had opened them, cleared, painted and put in the ebay angel eyes. I did everything according to the how to's on Housecors site. So I took all the bulbs out and ballasts off. When I was done I reconnected everything and wired it up.

I really can't figure it out, but hopefully somebody can give me an idea of what I did wrong. I need to fix this before I go to work in the morining!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

That ground wire that goes to the body of the car, simply attach it to any screw under the hood (like around the battery or snorkel). You may want to sand off the paint for a better connection, though. If you really want to know the functions of the wires, somebody else here would be more knowledgable, or you can invest in a Haynes manual, which has the electrical schematics in it.

u should try connecting the ground to the headlight screw as well. i don think u should wrry about the green wire its probably the stock ground but if you connect it dere wen u flash your high beams the HIDs will turn off. Try grounding the wire to the headlight screww like i said and sand off the paint like SilverGLE said. Hope this helps

Ok thanks. I'll take care of that grouding wire tonight. Is that going to do anything for the rest of the headlight, because NOTHING is working. I checked the wiring several times, but still can't figure out what that problem is.

PLEASE give me some advise/ suggestions anything!
Thanks!

yeah if its not grounded.. the circuit is not complete.. it would make sense that nothing is working.

ground and get back to us.

Hey I tried grounding the wire, but it still wasn't working. Is it wierd that even my fog lights aren't turning on?

I replaced the 2 15 fuses in engine compartment. There were also some 20 fuses on the other side, but those were empty to begin with, so I didn't do anything with those.
Still not working. I hope I didn't get some defective HID's

Alright, so I tried messing around with it and trying different things out. The highbeams, turn signals and angels eyes are working. The HID's and day time driving lights are not working. I'm not sure what I should do. I tried switching the ballasts. Now that I think about it I should switch the HID bulbs around too. Still not sure what the problem is.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

you're making this too difficult. You clearly blew a fuse when doing wiring (did you unhook the battery?). There are fuses inside the car that are a more likely culprit....under the panel bottom left side of the dashboard.......

btw, there are no "daytime driving lights" in the 2k2 HIDs.

The same thing came to mind but he beat me to it. I see that you replaced the two under the hood but there is one up under the steering column. Betcha... providing your wiring skillz are straight.

Thanks for the ideas guys. It turned out it was the ignitor that was messed up. Finally got it done now and looooooove it!

pics:

I was deciding if I should black it out or not, but now I'm happy I did

Lights 100x better than the halogens, but I think they might be aimed kinda high right now. I'll have to adjust it soon

And the money shot. Ebay angel eyes. Not a perfect fit, but if you mess around with it a little it looks pretty decent.
