Tranny Bearing Problems

Im looking at picking up a used 5th gen trann 01'. I was wondering if the bearing problems common with 4th gens are evident in 5th gens.

Don't think so. Haven't heard of any issues here on the .org! I know mine is still runnin like new.

I get a little bit of clutch bearing whine occasionally, but it's not really a problem. Been doing it for about 60k miles now and clutch is still fine...
