Need help with oxygen sensor issue
Need help with oxygen sensor issue
Hey guys, I have a 2001 max with the SES light on. I went to auto zone to have it scanned, and the code was P0160, which according to the haynes repair manual translates to: "rear heated oxygen sensor circuit (bank 2)." On the receipt from auto zone it says oxygen sensor 2, bank 2. And I need to know which one that is, because I have a cali-spec car which has 4 different oxygen sensors. So which one do I replace? Also, since it says "circuit," does that mean I can get away with just replacing the circuit where it plugs in up top under the hood or do I have to replace the whole sensor. I checked the stickies, but couldn't really find anything. Thanx alot.
same here
I have the same problem Im not sure if i can replace 1 sensor or if i have to replace all of them. The guy at autozone told me to replace all but i dont have the funds right now to attempt that...just finised christmas shopping.
Can we just change 1?
Can we just change 1?
ok, i went to the nissan dealer and told the guy what the code was and he showed me a diagram and showed me which one to change... if you look in front of the engine where all the oxygen sensors are lined up, its the second oxygen sensor counting from the left, with the red wire.. it's oxygen sensor 2 on cylinder bank 2, and it plugs into the pipe below the exhaust manifold that's facing the front of the car.. now i have another question.. the sensor from the nissan dealer costs about $150... if i get it from auto zone it costs about $90... on the website it says its a Bosch OE type oxygen sensor.. is it ok to use that instead of the factory one? because money is kind of tight right now
