It was a cold day and when i started my car with my auto start, it seemed that only my right tip was producing smoke. So i covered the left tip and felt no heat nor pressure build up, as for the right i felt both heat and pressure building up. I have a 2002 max that has the stock dual tip. Is this normal or could it be something else.

They are a valved muffler... When the rpms get high enough (enough exhaust) the valve opens and both tips let out exhaust.
