Sunroof Control Problems
I searched for this problem and found a couple of threads & a couple of solutions but neither worked for my problem.
Also my problem has different symptoms than the others so here goes:
When I push the button to slide open the roof, and click it to the one touch open, and the roof drops & moves back 1/2 inch. Then I push it again and it move and other 1/2 inch. This also does it when I push the button 1/2 way before the click for 1 touch open.
Then it does the same thing to close.
When I push the tilt button, the will go up, but when it goes back down, it doesn't stop. It drops and move an inch back and stops.
Neither button seems to have the proper stop. I took off the red battery lead and performed the reset instructions as per the 2 threads I found in my search.
Anybody??

It takes pushing the button 10 times to fully open it, then when it closes, it doesn't stop, it starts to lift.

You have one of my many symptons(i probably had all of them ever discussed), and I finally took my motor out and took it apart, and the circuit board was completely fried. Yours doesnt seem as bad as mine was, but if all else fails, you may want to check it out.
