clutch fluid?

Sorry if this has been posted before? have tried looking thru old threads. Wanted to make sure of the type of clutch fluid that should be used? Still Dot 3 brake fluid? Needed ti add some fluid to clutch resevoir needed to makes sure thanks!!!

yes, same, DOT3 brake fluid, you can even get "Clutch Fluid" which is the same thing from Pep Boys if you want.

sorry i bought mine used no manuel i did look on my resovoir cap just said brake fluid ? So we are saying dot 2 or 3? what is the difference? thanks

dot 3 supercedes 2, its the upgraded formula. dont waste you time looking for dot 2, i dont think it still exists.

I can't remember when I last saw DOT 2 brake fluid. If you go to Wallyworld you will find some Prestone synthetic DOT 3 brake fluid and it will work perfectly. You should be able to download a owner's manual from the Nissan publications website.

Hydraulic mix up

i used Hydraulic they r telling me i gotta replace master and slave question is do i have to replace anything else

What did you use? Oil based hydraulic oil? Need to replace the rubber lines.. can only get those from dealer. or if it hasn't been too long, flush completely all the lines, indluding all the convoluted metal lines that run all over the place on these cars...
