Has anyone installed only a supercharger and no exhaust mods? Is it worth it?

I love the fact that I can quietly beat many of the cars out there... but the whine of a sc would be awesome ....

So.. how much hp and torque can be gained by only adding a sc or are there other mods that would help more?

Thats what im doing till i get my custom full exhaust dun. I expect 250 hp at the wheel and 225 lbs of t. theres very little whine. YOur gonna be able to smoke people and say it's stock

 

DMan installed a supercharger without any exhaust modifications and he put down 250 whp.

 

I have noticed that the factory exhaust (y-pipe not included) is not that restrictive. I went to the track with 2000maximaSe last friday (removed cat) and I believe the car ran the same mph as with the cat.

I am starting to believe that this is one car than can be quick without being loud!

I don't have any mods.

 

He installed the y pipe a while after the sc, so he was running stock everything (minus sc).

 

Mr. 2 PSI doesn't need mods.

That's correct MR 6PSI with a 3.25 Pulley.
