good news

hey guys, most of you probably don't know, but i've been without my car since before christmas. my tranny and axles went to $hit. well i finally got the money for everything last month. i ordered everything but had to wait on the new AE tranny to ship from japan. it showed up today, so i finally get to start working on the car. new mods for it will be the AE tranny, raxles, lightweight flywheel, stage III clutch, headers, and uping the shot of spray from 75 to 125. i can't wait to start working on the damn thing, and i don't get to untill thursday because it's suppose to rain the next two days here and my car is outside. i'll keep you posted with updates as the work goes. take it easy.

congrats! Can't wait till I'm able to afford headers....But just to warn you, the stage 3 clutch isn't exactly friendly for daily driving...

Why did you get the tranny shipped from japan, there are plenty of places in the good ol USA to get the AE tranny. Sounds like a good setup though. Definately post some pics.

i called ave burnette at southpoint nissan, and when i did there wasn't a dealer around that had one in stock that was brand new. so i had to wait for nissan in japan to build it so that the dealer could get it. that was what took the longest.

as far as the 6 speed goes, i just kind of got burnt out on it, also i was thinking that with the nitrous shorter gears are not what i need. i had enough fun with traction with the 75 shot, let a lone the 125.
