I havent installed them on the car yet it wont be anytime soon that they get installed. If you want i can pop them into the front bumper and post a pic of that. ( the front bumper is off of the car right now)

Hey absoundlab....Was thinking of doing my 01 stocks with the "yellow stain glass paint" from a recent thread....Can you explain what hummer yellow and clear stain you used...Where you got it and is it a spray on application..Thanks. The lights look real good and "really yellow" Looking forward to seeing night pics...

you could have just gotten yellow Lamin-x, you know? that way you could take it off easy if you didn't like it.

whats with the new trend of starting threads stating that you have a new "mod" (that other people already have) before the "mod" is even installed?

I like it. glad you hate them. how would laminex have been easier for me? All I did was send them to a body shop and I got them back. There was no work involved. And the paint thats on there now is protecting them fog lights so I really dont know what you are trying to say

It looks a lot better than I thought it would. How is the light output? I would think the paint would decrease it quite a bit.

Just because the paint is thinned down doesn't mean the light output won't be decreased since it isn't that clear compared to a lamin-x film.

looks good. but i think laminx or whatever brand yellow tint on the fog lights will look nicer cuz they are more glossy and doesn't look hazy. i had yellow tint film on my fog lights before and the tint was a few milimeter thick so it helps protect from rocks hitting it or whatevers. i ended up changing to clear tint after a while cuz yellow didn't work for me haha that's kinda one thing good about having those tint film ones...if you don't like it you can just take them off and change them...but it's not bad either way.
