Wheelbearing Warrenty Replacement Problems.

I called up my local nissan store and asked about getting my wheel bearing replaced under the factory powertrain warrenty. i mentioned that my car was lowered and they started giving me all sorts of crap. basically they will make the call when i bring it in. i know they'll say no. what suggestions do you have for me? i was thinking of contacting nissan customer service and explaining how i have a 3rd 4th 5th and 6th gen in my driveway and a pathfinder and just because i'm an enthusiast they are refusing the warrenty repair. any other tips???

Don't tell them you're lowered or put the stock parts back on. Tell them they can ONLY deny the warranty service if they can prove your parts/install caused the problem. Call another dealer as well.

it's more work to swap out the suspension then to throw in a new bearing for me. i just have never had a warrenty before and really wanted to use it. i like free stuff. wanted to check to see if the ECU update has been performed and maybe i'll have an 02 sensor or 3 magically go bad on my ride there...

any other tips other then saying no my suspension didn't cause the problem, i know it's a common problem with these cars. i'll call nissan's customer service and complain...

they don't know i'm lowered i'm dropping the car off at 7am. i called another dealer and told them i was lowered and he's like we'll have to see when it gets here. then i asked to speak with the person who makes the decisions regarding this and he said it was him and he has to see it 1st.

No free bearings for you. No matter what you lowering the car is the reason the bearings went out early, sooo they will win that argument everytime. You should of waited for your warranty to run out before you started modding, but goodluck anyway. Also you shouldn't let the dealer mess with your car unless there is something wrong with it, usually they end up messing something else up trying to fix the warranted part in question.

you don't think customer nissan customer service would force the dealer to fix it?
