SS brake line replacement howto

I searched and found a thread for the 6th gen's but couldn't find anything for 5th gen. I know it's basically the same but I couldn't find what I was looking for. What you all doing to minimize the brake fluid loss once the line is disconnected? I've read about capping the metal line but what is being used to cap it? Is that a proper method or should it even be a concern? Is there a write up somewhere that I overlooked in my search? I used the free search and put "stainless steel brake line replacement" in my search. I ended up doing a google search on the net and got some info from other car sites but no one really addressed the fluid loss other than "..put a container underneath to catch the fluid..." or the vacuum cap solution.

I'm going to be replacing all 4 lines so the order should be rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger and front driver?

While I'm at it, replacing the disks and pads also, can I just re-pack the bearings or will that have to be replaced? 130k miles, bought it used with 117k. Have no idea what the time between repair/replacment/overhaul is.

Thanks!!
