Hid retro : Ebay Pics NO 56k
I'd advise against raising the driver's side any higher. Standard legal aiming practices usually call for that side to be down and in, with relation to the passenger side, which, aside from a little low, should be pretty well dead straight. the Stock housing would have been aimed using the high-beams, then when you switch to lows it should be perfect. I'm sure projectors on aftermarket fixtures through a huge wrench in it, so keep tweaking. Looks great for output, however I personally think those aftermarket headlight enclosures are crap for fitment. Kudos to Hereismymind; nice mod SilverGLE.

the proper way to aim is to park 20ft from a wall. (flat surface) and the bottom line of the projection should be 2-4" lower than the height of the projector to the ground on your car.
example. from the ground to the center of my projector is 24" so i aim the bottom line at 20-22".
just make sure that they overlap like the pictures i sent you

I need some info on how to open these damn lights. What I mean is, do I need to remove any screws? and is there a way to open them without breaking tabs or any of the plastic parts. These lights just seem very fragile, which is why I ask this.
I already know about cooking them in an oven to loosen up the sealant, just need some help with the rest. thanks

I believe there's 3 or so screws along the outer edge of each headlight. Of course, take those out before you bake the headlights. Once the glue has softened, carefully start prying along the black plastic. If the glue hardens, reheat, repeat, rinse until you crack the **** open...
heresmymind, doesn't look like you put in a rotational adjustment. did you just line up the cutoff with the mounting bracket? i'll be attempting this for my brother's accord soon with ebay headlamps

rotational adjustment was hard to put in with those spec. headlights since the e55 projectors were so much larger than the ebay ones in the headlight already. so what I did was I drew a line on the aiming bracket on the inside that was level with the cut off sheild of the ebay projector. then matched it with the sheild of the e55. the driver side COULD be slightly adjusted counterclock wise. but it is hard because he lives in TN and I am in CT.

Forgot about this... I took some more adjusted cutoff pics. I'll have to reaim again next week once I'm back in my apartment in Cookeville (just got Eibach's and Illumina's on). Finding perfectly level ground around here is very annoying at night... But my apartment's side is perfectly level with a white wall.

wow here's my mind. Looks like excellent work! Dr. Roy would be proud. He did my retro for me personally like 2 years ago. I think i was like the 4th or 5th person on the forum to get the retro for the ebay projectors. My e46's are still great, but Roy also had a little trouble getting them rotated perfectly level. This is my first post here on the forum in ages since i Live in europe now and couldn't bring my max with me.. but it's good to see the forum doing well. Anyone seen or heard anything from Dr. Roy? He was a PIONEER! Not to mention a great guy from my own personal experience.
