on the 400.00 duckets. You could always go for one of these. Actually I would be interested in seeing what the "m3" would look like. People say they would stick out too much, that the mirror is too small. I haven't seen anyone try it.

$20 for a pair of side mirrors? IMO Way too cheap to be anything quality oriented.
On the otherhand considering that price... If someone really likes them its worth a try tho, you just might get lucky.

IMO riceness too.

What's up with people talking about things are "riceness". I brought a pair almost like that one off Ebay for my gf's Altima. It says "universal" mirrors on the box and they included a triangle adapter thing designed to fit the altima (the only thing different for the mirrors to fit other cars). I was skeptical at the price, but it looks okay to me. Plan on installing it in a few more days. I'll keep u updated.

Care to back that up?

"rice" mods serve no purpose and in general, look out of place on the car.

Since Nissan left LOTS of room for improvement on the 5th gen Maxima... Several mods serve a purpose on it.

And yes, I think those mirrors are "ricey"...

i'll be happy to back that up...its as simple as the statement suggests... i didnt say that doing modifications to a maxima was ricey. i simply stated that the same thing could be said about it. some people in the import automotive community feel that doing ANYTHING to a sedan is ricey. what room did Nissan leave on the 5th gen? i could find more mods to do on a 240 or a 350z then i could on a maxima. if you cant say anything constructive then butt out.

What room? The brakes are horrible, suspension is worse than a 94 caddy sts, rims seem like that are made from lead, front half of the exhaust seems like it is designed to rob power, frame is as stiff as an over cooked noodle...

The list goes on... You made a blanket statement that any mod could be looked at as ricey. You were wrong, face it.

you must have had some bad luck with cars...never every car is made perfect for race inspired driver. just because a car doesnt perform like a race car means that it needs improvement. i personally dont have any of those problems on my maxima. my brakes are just fine. my suspension feels nice and comfy. my rims are not heavy. and whats wrong with a frame being stiff? why would i want my frame to be flexible?

Man you don't catch on that fast do you...

Sorry, but EVERY Maxima has those problems. IF you Maxima is stock, YOU have all of those problems. Just to make sure we are clear... Have you ever seen an over cooked noodle? It is not that stiff...
