my front side markers were fogging up so i took them apart and sprayed the inside of them black. not the clear lens at all just the back white part. i think they look awesome. has anyone else done this? i want to do my rear ones but i cant seem to get them apart without breaking them.

 

So what kind of spray paint do you guys use to paint your side markers? My Maxima is Grey Lustre and I was thinking if I could paint my side markers the color of the car they would look pretty cool. And do you paint the inside or the outside of the side markers?

Oh and I like soonerfan, he tells it like it is. I'm always shocked with how easily he can make people cry.

btw in terms of 5th gens at least, IIRC the first with the black sidemarkers was Bluesbrekr, who used niteshades. I think I was the first to use thin layers of dupli-color universal black + clearcoat, and it took several tries to get the right level of blackness and light output at night. I still have to take them out to pass inspection though

Ugh, IDK maybe 2 months...the only reason that I put them on as opposed to painting them was so I don't ruin the sidemarkers, after you paint them you cannot get that paint off so I just decided to put the tint on...
