How hard is it to fix a noisy fan?

My fan on the right side of the dashboard keeps making a loud squeaking noise. Funny thing is it only happens when I turn my steering wheel to the right. I've taken the glovebox out before to replace the microfilter so I'm pretty familiar with what's in that area. How difficult would it be to get to the fan to oil it or possibly replace it?

i'm assuming you mean this one?

http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/NTB99-045.pdf

it doesn't state anything about removing the glovebox or where the fan is. is there some other place i can look?

edit: nevermind...looking at the other link now

you sure its the blower?
a squeak when turning the steering wheel sounds like a power steering pump problem

you're probably right. but for some reason i think it only happens when i have the AC running and only when i turn the wheel to the right. it also sounds like it's coming from the right side of the car right behind the dash. is that where the power steering pump is? should i check the fluid level maybe? and if i do i need to check it when it's cold, right?

AC condenser going bad so the belt slips when you turn and the power steering pump works harder

that does make sense since whenever it's really hot/humid out the ambient temperature reading spikes up by about 20 degrees to around 115 and the air compressor stops working and won't blow cold air. if i'm lucky it will come back down after a few minutes or the compressor will kick in if i restart the car. but i've had that problem for a year now where as this just started happening a couple months ago.

anything i can fix on my own?
