After Illuminas install.....rear squeak-squeak-squeak. why?

2 weeks ago i installed a new set of Tokico Illuminas on my 2003 SE using the stock OEM springs.
The Install went smooth with no issues. New FRONT strut mounts and bearing were used. The rear mounts were NOT replaced and the stock ones looked just fine. I did the alignment and the car drives and feels much nicer than before.

Over the last few days i have been noticing this squeaky sound from the rear of the car. It is not very load but i can hear it every time i go over a speed bump.
If i park the car, open the trunk and i start to rock the car up and down, i can hear it again from the driver's side - very clear squeaky sound. It is NOT a grinding sound. It sounds a lot like something is not lubed properly. What could it be? Where to start? What to check? I know that the rear suspension setup on the 5.5 gen Maxima is very simple and i am not really sure what to suspect. ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. I do have a rear sway bar installed, as well as rear strut tower bar. They have been both on the car for the last 3 years and i never heard a peep from them.

Thanks!

I'd say recheck. Disassemble lube and reassemble if necessary.

Perhaps the squeak is coming from the hats of the shock rubbing on the spring.

Yes! I double checked on both sides. I knew how important they are after reading all the postings here.

I wonder...should i loosen the two nuts holding the shock (in the trunk) while the car is on the ground and then re tighten them again. This way.....with the car's weight on the rear shocks, things may fall into place. Is this even a good/safe idea?
