Engine Shuts Off!! Help!

okay so i searched the site but couldnt find anything but if there is another topic already made for this sorry just please direct me to it.

So basically my car starts no problem runs fine ... but when im driving and lets say im going forty and i see a red light so i drop the car in neutral ( its manual ) the rpm just goes down and eventually hits zero?????!!!??! and the car shuts off i just restart and continue driving it did it about 5 times in a 15 minute trip about two days ago .... but yesterday and today its been running fine i do notice the rpm drop to about 3k but it goes back up to about 7k doesnt shut of anymore ... i filled up gas at this ghetto gas station and all they had as 87 so i filled up like 5 bucks of gas just so i could make it home ... after it was shutting off a bunch i filled the tank with VPOWER and it stopped shutting off .... Is there anything i need to get fixed on it ? or do you think it was just the gas ..?

i've had that happen to me before also... I dont remember the exact cause but I could have been putting in **** gas. I've done that by accident once or twice. I doub't you need to fix anything.

PS... nice sig, keep baking out your car like that and you will have to start vacuuming your ceiling liner like me

Umm, using 87 or 93 does not cause this. The car can use either w/o problems.
