I had that problem when I lowered my brother's Mazda MX-6. It was because the plate that sits on top of the spring was not fit correctly, so everything i turned the wheel, i heard rubbing and noises.

You might want to check to make sure the Progress springs are sitting correctly on the front struts and the top part of the strut also.

Since you have the Progress Springs, I wanted to know, I know they are lower than the H&R, but how is the ride? I want something close to stock. And not too hard cause I really dont want to replace the shocks.

Plus What happens if you pack the car with 5 people, does the back end bottom out? Cause if I pack it now, it almost bottoms out.

Lastly How much?

i dont know if this has to do with it, but since you dropped your car 2 inches, the camber might be off.. might be negative camber like kevs ride when he slammed his on coilovers. by the way, did you get your car alighned withed the 2 inch drop?
