Look what I got today! Woo ho!

My group deal went through and I picked up a set of 18" Katana K5's! I can't wait until I get these on!

If anyone still wants them I can get them for $590 plus actual shipping. No group deal is needed. I can also get any other Katana 18" wheel for about the same price. Phat tire prices if you are local. www.katanawheels.com

They're 18x7.5 with a +45 offset. I was going to buy racing hart M5's but I got these for 1/3 the price. They are not heavy at all. About the same as stocks if not lighter.

I think that wheels are the #1 best upgrade that you can do for your car. I see a lot of people spend $1500 on other upgrades but keep their stock wheels. Makes no sense to me. If you look at a car modded with stuff like lights, scanners, strut bars, maybe even a body kit, it doesn't look as good as a car with 18's or 19's.

I agree with you, I actually had my Chrome Wheels put on AT THE DEALERSHIP before I drove the car off.

But I dont agree with with 18s or 19s, I would LOVE to put them on, I know they look hot and all, but me living in DC Metro area, the roads suck and I think I would tear up a 19 or possibly an 18 in about 2weeks

Yeah, but for a Maxima with 235/40/18 it's almost as thick (sidewall) as the stock 225/50/17's. But if I do bend a rim, I'd be freakin' crying.

you're mistaken, The stock has a sidewall of about 4.4" and the new tire will have a sidewall of 3.7". That is a good almost 3/4" small sidewall. For potholes and crap, that is a good amount of tire you are losing.

But then again, I still am contemplating on gettng the 19", i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE that size on a max, looks so HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

I went through the same thing, couldn't decide on 18's or 19's. After considering the price difference and the price of my car, I just couldn't justify 19's. I mean, $3000 wheels on a car that I bought for $22000, come on. I thought that would be a foolish thing for me to do.

ehh, having second thoughts about those rims huh... Yes it is alot of money but the joy that you get when you see them on your car is priceless. Along with all of the people who will complement you because you got some bada$$ rims that barely anybody has.

Tires alone would cost you over $500. You can't get these Katana's for less than $675 out there. Yes there are cheaper 18" wheels but they don't look as good as these do. You could probably pick up a set of 18" Primax wheels at Pep Boys for $500 but they look like dog doo. Just my .02
