Please post up pics, trying to decide what size wheel spacers to get. 35-45mm offset wheel.

ok, is it 35, or is it 45. It matters.

A wheel that width with a 35 offset will not need spacers (and they probably won't fit anyhow without rubbing.

Just buy a wheel with the correct offset and don't use spacers. That is a much better (and safer) solution....

try 45mm, I think stock is 45mm, I was wanting that wider stance in the rear with my stock wheels b/c It'll be awhile before I can afford wheels. I'll just wait and save money for wheels instead of spacers.

I’ve got 18.8.5 +33 all around, w/ 15mm spacers in the rear and 5mm in front. Effectively the offsets are + 28 front, +18 rear w/ spacers.

And no, they atre not staggerd, but the reason for the variable offsets is because:

In order to have both front and rear tires about flush on A33's, you need to use spacers if you do not want the staggered look.

Nmex, what's the tire size on those things? It's the width I'm curious about mostly.

I want to fit 245-255 all around my max, and not sure how wide of a wheel will accomodate that.

sorry for the jack...back to the topic.

I currently run 18x8 +38 HP Evo Lightnings with 15mm spacers in front and 20mm spacers in the back - effectively +23 offset front and +18 offset rear. Currently with 235/40/18 the front fits pretty flush but the rear is sunk in about 1cm.

I have about 2mm of clearance for my BlehmCo Z32 calipers in front. It's kinda scary actually.

I have 18x8 with a +35 offset... 245/40/18
Fronts are flush... Rear needs at least a 5-10mm spacer
I am running H&R's with HP Blues... no rubbing

THAT is flush - more flush that you would ever want. 17x9 +20, 17x9 +15. The front sticks out 2cm at neutral camber and the rear sticks out by 1cm but since both front and rear are cambered out with stretched tires, they fit hella flush.

Offset is EVERYTHING. Thanks for playing

I think 18x 8.5 with a 35mm offset is perfect.

with maybe a small spacer in the rear about 10mm or less.

Bump to an older thread, so Maxboost and nmexmax, given your "after" offset with the spacers, technically I could run 19x8.5 +25 then?

Indeed. That's actually very conservative.

I'd run a 19x8.5 +10 in the rear.

Cool, I am looking for a set of wheels which w/o spacers could be as flush as possible and clear a 4 piston Wilwood BBK.

i just pickedup 20mm spacers...and its gonna be real close...
my 18" 35mm offsets will be fine due to the low pros
the stock 17" __offsets will be the problem...
I will post my progress once I get into it.(when I can get into the garage)

This is with a little front end camber... to keep from rubbing.

19x8.5 front 40mm offset 245/35/

19x9.5 rear 40mm offset 255/35/

older pics still the same rims though.
