With all that said, the Max is a pretty sporty FWD sedan and I like mine most of the time. Any time really, other than when I do U-turns or park anywhere tight.
whats your point, just like how camry's advertise as if it was a luxury car, an accord advertise for both, you have to tip the scale in a way to have different groups of people wanting to buy the car, so what nissan chose to be sporty, i love to be in that class

Maxima is a nice enough car with extra power but it handles like crap. It'll never be confused for a G35, IS350 or 335i
i agree. the Maxima is a BOAT. the end.

stock this thing handles like ****. period. regardless of trim.

my buddy with a same yr accord runs circles around me... but i am faster than him in a straight line.

i believe a lot of it has to do with the Maxima being tuned for ride comfort as oppose 2 a sporty suspension.

the rear suspension system is a beam. A BEAM. as oppose to an independent link rear suspension like the accord

in all honesty, maxima's may have the worst handling, and its bad, but exaggerated a bit, accords is a bit better but not a night and day, the 04 camry's are the ones that just filth all over both oppositions. and i've driven all three on almost a daily basis (well not anymore)

Compared to how my 626 cornered, my Maxima SE is like a friggin' sports car. Turning radius blows though.
