You'd probably best do it from an aiport location where they keep hundreds of cars. They probably wouldn't notice for weeks. I'd suggest waiting a few months until they get plenty of 2K2's. The rent a car employees probably won't notice. ORRRRRR...

Do the swap, then return the car with no lights and say that someone jacked them (along with some other parts for realism) and remember to take the full insurance....

Haha...you'd have to ensure you rented a car the same color...don't forget to switch the little sticker that the rental car companies put on the rear driver's side window...bar code.

In all reality...though...just in case any morons are actually considering this...you'd get your a$$ nailed and thrown in jail and if you doubt that you're smoking something which cost you a lot more than a set of 2K2 HIDs in the first place.

I've rented from National, Budget, and Thrifty. They all carry Chrysler\Dodge cars and some Fords. None of them carried any Japanese or foreign cars.

a friend of mine once rented a movie(on tape). he tried to record it, but his copy didn't come out right. he then got an idea, he opened up both tapes(the original and his **** copy), and swapped the film. now he had the original film in his tape, i kept telling him that it was a stupid idea and that he would get caught, but he didn't, its been like 3 years.

p.s. blockbuster usually puts two thick, hard to peel stickers on both sides of the tape(so if the screws were removed, the casing couldn't be removed), anywho, the one time my friend gets this idea is the one time they only put one sticker on the tape. dont do anything dumb guys, we dont need org members in jail(or on the news), and if any of you get in that kind of trouble, can i have your mods? *cough* Y2KevSE *cough*

was that you or someone said about renting a Maxima for 34.99. BTW I worked for Budget at BWI airport....last year they had Maximas..not sure about this year though. They carry GXEs with CC package.

Nope, was Adman who suggested renting the Maxima.

I've rented from Budget in Texas and California and all they had were Chrysler cars and a Mustang. Lucky punks in the NE get to rent Maximas. If I rented one of those, I'd drive it nuts to see what it can really do, since I don't want to mess up my car

the last time I was at the local Hertz/? rental center, they had a Acura NSX, a Corvette, a Hummer amongst the regular rental fleet that even included Maximas and Altimas.

They also have a Hertz car sales here and they are selling a prior rental NSX and a Jag among the regular cars.

 

Yea, I've seen a couple HIGH dollar rental places like that.

One here in Arizona has all kinds of sports cars including porches and a Viper or two.

I was tempted to stop in and ask how much for a 1-day rental on the Viper and then pull the old "take it to the track and FLOG the $hit out of it trick". Anyways, I figured I'd probably have to sign over my first born or something, so I gave up that pipe dream.
