Drivers side stereo and AC just went out WTF?!?!?
Hi guys, long time to chat. I hope everyone is doing well.
Would someone help a brotha out?
All of a sudden today the left side of the Maxipad speakers went out as did the AC vent on the far left. Any ideas what that would be? Would a blown fuse cause just a half side to go out? I did some research and Im really at a loss for what to do.
Any constructive help is surely appreciated.
Thanks!

Your car had a stroke..
I know the CD player on Bose equipped models does that, it just needs a swift slap across the faceplate to ge it to work again. But when lisening to the stereo, things are fine.
Never heard of the AC going out only on 1 side. Is the vent open?

Yes sir the vent is open. My dad said it might be a damper or something?

No Im sorry I dont come here that often. The only solution to the bose is a bullet to kill it and replace it but Im about to start a divorce and dont have the duckets for that.

actually, it's very simple to fix. there is a write out about pulling the ribbion out abit to get better connection, I did that, and the problem came back after 1 month.
what I did to solve the problem was to put some layers of scotch tape on the back of the ribbon where it went into the sockets, so the ribbion was forced to touch the pins. have no problems since I did that.

additional suggestion:
put 2-3 layers of scotch tape on the back of the ribbon where it goes into the sockets to make more presure.
