I got DDM and had no problems at all

5000K aftermarket bulbs absolutely exist:

55w DDM only puts out like 42 :P

Yup. DDM 55W ballasts, AMP to D2S connectors and Morimoto 5Five 5000K D2S bulbs.

Sadly, yes but they're just as good as the Morimoto 50W ballasts. I've seen comparison pics.

why not the DDM bulbs? they have 5000K too don't they?

I originally bought a 9006 kit for my old retro set up but those bulbs couldn't be used in my current set up.

Plus, I don't trust that they truly have 5000K.

so would a $200 MAXIMA HALO ANGEL EYES LED PROJECTOR CHROME HEAD LIGHTS from ebay with a 55w 5000K HID kit be good if not where could i buy retrofits already made with good projectors ?

So from reading this thread, I've gathered that 55w Ballasts suck. The ones i'm looking at buying locally are 35w. is that better or worse?

Not sure I follow, are you using halogen bulb/rebased HID bulbs on your new projector headlights then. If that's the case, your OEM harness will never work with it since 02 comes with stock D2R HID.

What would you like us to do, without even knowing the model of the headlights? Perhaps buy a new WIRING harness? Return the headlights and buy ones that DO fit?

i would of bought them for sure if they had the Halo light and it they where chrome cause my car is black with chrome strips so i want matching headlights
