New Battery - better acceleration?

Hi All,

Just had the battery replaced in my 2003 GLE/Auto. It seems to my butt dyno that the car has better pickup/response, my wife seems to think so as well.

Does this make any sense?

Care to expand on that thought? Does that mean I've been trashing my alternator for the past little while?

with the new batt. the alt doesnt have to work as hard to keep the batt. charged since the new one probably holds the charge more effectively..engine makes power..alt uses less power now..more power to flywheel ..its simple

How thick do the racing stripes have to be? I have some old hockey tape, if I double it up can I get 30 hp? Or should I just buy the really shiny duct tape? Do I put the tape running the whole length of the car? Will tinting my windows give me better gas mileage ? ... I won't have to turn on the air conditioner as much and I can pretend that I'm somebody.

I hope you put TWO in the trunk, because that's when you really start seeing the benefits!!

I've hired an engineering firm to do up some CAD drawings for an EIGHT battery setup. Now, where's that ***** with the bright yellow Max?

i tend to like the Viper style stripe, straight down the middle, it gives you the 15hp, and the torque of a v10!!

I got no problems with his Yellow Maxima, i simply said i would never do that to mine, classiness versus import looking is way different, i prefer a clean looking car versus a race car look...when you pull up on the side of someone they dont see it coming...
