2000 SE with 81k. I just purchased it today. Really happy with it.

 

2002 maxima SE - 147k.

changed trans fluid and paranoid about it

 

2003 with 111,552. Running as good and stronger than when it had 14 miles on it when i got it, this car is a keeper!

 

Just curious... why paranoid? I have 212K and changed the trans fluid only twice.

I just bought a 2000 SE with 104,800 miles on it. I am very happy so far. The previous owner changed all 6 coils. Now I'm worried about MAF and IACV causing fried ECU. Do all 5th gen Maxima have IACV problem or only some of them?

 

I'm buying a Silver 2000 SE 5spd w/176xxx tomorrow after work. Wish I could've gotten something with lower miles but the car was in pretty good condition cosmetically, and from what I could tell in my limited test drive mechanically. Shifted smooth, sounded good, felt good, I can't wait to pick it up and drive it! Gonna be a DD but I hope to mod it before too long.

 

02SE just hit 98k mi... Bought it in march of 03 wit 16k on it... Loving it ever since.. (except for the few times the lights were stolen.)

 

Because they recommend it every 30k on these cars, and for the most part you should do it as these cars can be finnicky if fluids arent changed etc.

2002 SE AT - 172,000 miles and still runs pretty much like the day I got it. Still on the original engine/tranny. Only things I've had to replace over the years is the radiator, PS pump, starter, and an O2 sensor. I have no idea how many more miles it has in it. :-)

 

We officially hit 350,000 miles on the '01 SE today. It gets a new radiator next week as a reward.

 

Need a pic of that odometer. 350k is crazy!
