well to start with it was low idle had problems now it's at 2005 rpms starts surging. What could this be

 

2003 Infiniti I35 just rolled over 160,000 miles. Based on the feedback here, I like to see it go over 200,000. I have done most maintenance myself including my most recent fun project replacing AC compressor, condenser + driver.

 

2003 with 105000

 

Gotta say goodbye to my 2000 GLE, got hit by an uber driver last month.



I treated it like dirt to be honest. Paid 1200 for it, had to replace the front ignition coils/plugs, put a junkyard alternator in it, replaced the revolution sensor and 3 cheap starters. Charcoal canister needed replacing pretty much as soon as I bought it but I manged to never pay the 200 bucks for it and pass emissions anyway for years. I remember the summer of 2017 being wild when the misfires were happening in the dead heat and I didnt know jack about cars. this car helped me learn to fix stuff on my own. summer of 18 the revolution sensor went crazy but I was ready to fix it.

 

I just picked up a 2002 SE, auto trans with 138,500 miles on it. It's in pretty good shape, needs somethings fixed. It's got a silver dollar sized hole in the mid pipe, needs a blower motor and the ABS and service engine light are on. Getting excited to fix it up and make it nice. It's going to be my commuter.

 

2003 SE love the car 105000 on it now bought it with 104500 have to fix few things now think I got bad gas

 

2017 with 23k and it is going in monday for a few issues.

1. high pitched whine when accelerating... this has been happening since 10k, and been to dealer 3x already and each time they say they dont hear it. It is getting worse.
2. side molding on drivers side behind rear door broke off.
3. paint cracking on driver rocker due to poor warrant respray at 2k miles

already had the airbag serviced under recall a few months ago.

 

yes, that seems to be a common issue... impossible to get the rest of it off too without breaking the rest of the tabs.

 

2000 SE with 210950 miles on it

 

2000 gxe with 245k miles. Bought the car in 2001 with 17k miles cpo.Still runs good. My son has it now.I have not posted here in 3 years now.

 

2000 Maxima SE 287,632 mi. It was a repo. Car runs great after I fixed everything. Working on refreshing the interior and exterior now.
